PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

 

THE BOROUGH OF SAYREVILLE is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres and Jake’s Law Programs for improvements at Bailey Park located at South Minisink Avenue and Cheesequake Road in Sayreville.

 

The Borough proposes to enhance Bailey Park by replacing the outdated playground with a new fully accessible play area and creating a sidewalk connection and ADA paved parking with funding from the Jake’s Law Program. The Borough’s application for additional funds from the State’s Green Acres program will be used for enhancing picnic facilities, walking trails, adding a comfort station and creating a paved entrance and parking. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate and an environmental impact assessment for the project will be posted HERE

 

The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposals and to ask questions and/or provide comments on the proposed plan. The hearing will be conducted as a part of the
